The Friends of the Museum is a group of our volunteers and supporters which were formed to help the Museum in a variety of ways.
A Message from the Chairman
The “Friends of the Staffordshire Regiment Museum” exist to support and improve the museum. It’s made up of an eclectic group of people possessing a diverse range of skills. The team are involved in a broad range of activities which include, fund raising, maintaining military vehicles, running museum events, tours, research, as well as much more. In recent years the friends have produced a number of new exhibits for the museum all intended to improve the visitor experience. This work is ongoing and there is always more to do.
We are always on the lookout for new people to join the group and no matter what your skills and abilities, there is sure to be a place for them within the team.
There are social benefits to joining the friends and volunteering at the museum, with annual outings, social events and you are assured of a warm welcome.
The group also hold three meetings per year and all are welcome to attend.
You shouldn’t worry about the levels of commitment required, you can do as little or as much as you want and as they say every little helps.
Hope to see you soon.
