We request that you still wear a mask when inside the Museum and follow the clearly marked one-way route around the Museum. In addition there are still cleaning stations around the site.
Please follow government advice when planning a visit to the Museum. If you or any of your household have any recognised symptoms of Covid-19, please do not visit the Museum.

The museum is open from 10am – 4pm* Monday-Sunday including Bank Holidays
Please note- There are sometimes occasional closures at the museum. Please check the website or contact the museum before you make a special visit.

Admission charges may be subject to variation for certain events.
Members of the Staffordshire and Mercian Regimental Association, Serving members of the Mercian Regiment and DMS staff are free (on production of an identity card).
We welcome and encourage Gift Aid donations. Registered charity number 1096944.

Museum Hire
The Museum building and outside exhibits are all available for hire. Please contact the museum for further information.
Group Visits
The Museum welcomes groups and can tailor tours to suit all tastes – from general interest to military enthusiasts – all are bound to be fascinated by what they discover here at Whittington.

Severe weather guidelines
During the winter season there are occasions when we need to limit, or alter, our opening times to the museum or to some of our outdoor exhibits. If you are contemplating a visit and snow, ice or strong winds are forecast, please feel free to check with us before making the journey. The museum office is staffed until 4pm each day.
