Did you serve or do you know of anyone who served in the Normandy Campaign in 1944 either with the South Staffords, the North Staffords or the 59th (Staffordshire) Division during the Second World War?

August 2024 will be the 80th anniversary of their finest hour ,the first successful crossing of the River Orne (La Bataille des Collines),which hastened the end of the Normandy Campaign and the march to Berlin, which we intend to commemorate with a parade and memorial in France.

The Staffordshire Regiment Museum would like to hear from you if you have any information about the Staffordshire Regiment involvement in this campaign, either first hand or through ales passed down by those who were there.
